Happy Monday! Ugh the Monday after Christmas is such a bummer. I don't know about you but I'm sad that the holiday's are about to end. Did you have a good Christmas? We spent a lot of time at home and with family - it was perfect. Did Santa bring you anything good??

My pal Lacey, of My Boring Closet, and I shot these fun looks a few weeks ago in collaboration with Denver Street Boutique (one of our favorite local fashion truck boutiques) and it was a ton of fun! Sequin joggers are ALL over the internet and social media right now - it is the time of year after all. But I love it. I'm obsessed with sequins right now! These joggers are super fun for New Years (maybe you're a procrastinator like me and STILL don't have your outfit planned). They're also fun for events or just dressing down with a fun graphic tee. There are plenty of ways to wear these post holiday season - get creative and mix the unexpected items you already have in your closet, like tees or sweaters. I have a look coming up that shows how to dress down a sequin skirt so stay tuned!

I also have a giveaway coming up both this week and next so be sure to follow me on Instagram for all the details!

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I got some Christmas shopping done (FINALLY - I'm not even done yet...oops), celebrated the boyfriends birthday which you may have seen on Snapchat (username: mallorysauer), and finished it off with a family Christmas party. Busy weekend, but all fun stuff. I can't believe Christmas is this week already!

Last week I shared with you my new favorite coat from SheIn. This week I'm sharing a dress from them that I think is super fun for the holidays. It's a more simple approach to a holiday party look, but just as fun and chic, in my opinion. And it's a piece that can be worn after the holidays. I love the idea of a long sleeve maxi dress for the cooler months. The slits in the side are super fun and flirty and add a little element of sexy. This piece can be dressed up or down depending on what shoes and jewels you pair it with. I dressed down with one of my FAVORITE pairs of booties at the moment, and this necklace from Threads Worldwide that I'll actually be giving away later this week! One disclaimer about this dress, the website doesn't disclose that a slip is needed so I had find one that worked with the lines of the dress. If you're wondering about the quality or purchase experience with SheIn, check last weeks post.

Hope you have a great rest of your week!

Grey Trench Coat

Coat: SheIn / Tee: Nordstrom / Jeans: Nordstrom / Sneakers: Old - similar / Booties: Jeffrey Campbell / Purse: Old - similar / Necklace: Threads Worldwide (fair trade jewelry company helping artisan women in developing countries) / Lip Color: Glo Minerals Color Pop Gloss in 'Pueblo' - use SWEETANDSAUER15 for 15% off

Happy Thursday! Holy cow things have been crazy lately. If you follow me on Snapchat (@mallorysauer) then you saw I was in LA with my mom. We actually went for some doctors appointments (second opinion cancer stuff) but made a fun girls weekend out of it! It was nice to get out of town, spend some time with my mom and just have a break from the craziness that's been going on lately.

Ok enough of that. Let's talk about this coat! I am in LOVE with this baby. I've been wearing it non stop. It's warm, adds interest to a simple outfit (as seen above), and is classic. I love pairing statement jackets like this with basic jeans and a tee, and then dressing the look up or down but switching up shoes, as I did here.

I've gotten a lot of questions about my experience with SheIn (formerly Sheinside). I've ordered a handful of pieces from them, mostly jackets, and have been pleasantly surprised. With anything, you get what you pay for, but overall I think they have great products for the price point. They have been my go-to website for fashion coats for a little over a year now. I always size up (I'm wearing a medium here). I promise it's not as sketchy as it seems. I've even gone through the return process and although it's a bit of a process, it's totally legit.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing a fun beauty product review, and next week I'm giving away a necklace from Threads Worldwide. Stay tuned :)
