Friday Favorites: Eyelash Tricks!

Happy Friday everyone! One question I get asked about A LOT is my eyelashes and if they are real. The answer is yes :) If you follow me on Snapchat (@mallorysauer) then you saw me talk about the products I use for long lashes. I've listed them all for you below!

1. Latisse MD

I've been using Latisse for a while now. I will say that I didn't start to notice results right away. It wasn't until I was almost done with the first bottle that I really noticed a difference. But from chatting with other Latisse users, that sounds pretty standard. I'm on my third bottle now and it works great. For my first and second bottle I used the serum every single night. Once I started seeing results I backed off to using it 3-4 times a week. I still maintain results and don't have to use as much product.

I get Latisse at a local Medi spa. I've also seen it at eye doctors offices. It is a little pricey so if that's out of your range, THIS is a great alternative that works just as well. I'll be switching over once I finish my current bottle of Latisse.

2. L'Oreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara

I love this mascara, primarily for the primer (white) end. I use two coats of the white, and let it almost dry in between coats. Once the second coat is almost dry, I use one quick coat of the black end.

3. L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

I LOVE this mascara. So so much. I've been using it forever and it's my absolute FAVORITE! After I apply the first mascara, I build two coats with this one. One little trick, when it's almost dry, push your lashes up and hold them like that for a few seconds. I love this mascara because it is buildable, so if I need to apply another coat later in the day I can and it doesn't get super clumpy.

Ok that's it! This post makes the process look long but I promise it's not. Hope this helps! Do you have any good eyelash tricks?

Rock n' Roll Graphic Top

Photos by Colleen Kelly (check out her Instagram too!)

Sweatshirt: Lyric Culture (c/o)  / Jeans: H&M / Shoes: Choies / Purse: Alexander Wang (great dupe here, and here)

Happy Thursday! Hope you're having a great week!

I think it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of a simple jeans and a tee outfit. I think there's something so classic and cool about it. I love wearing jeans and a tee, but then adding a fun pair of shoes or bold accessory to take the outfit up a notch. I love that this sweatshirt from Lyric Culture is simple, but adds a little something with the graphic. All the pieces from Lyric Culture are really cool and different. Think super cute tees, tanks and sweatshirts that are inspired by song lyrics (anything from the Rolling Stones to Tupac). I love a fun graphic top as an alternative to my usual jeans and tee.

Faux Fur Coat

Coat  (only $25!) / Tee / Jeans / Shoes / Sunglasses / Purse dupe here ($45!) here ($40!) / Purse Keychain

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! Did you catch my Snapchat story sharing how I get my lunches ready for the week? If you missed it, the story should be live for a little longer - my username is mallorysauer. Let me know if you guys would like to see more stories like that!

First, this coat. So cute and actually not super heavy so it's perfect for those cooler nights, but still wearable as we transition into spring. I also love that it can be dressed down with jeans and a tee as shown here, or dressed up for a night out. I love getting my fashion coats from Shein - the quality is better than you would expect for the price. Second, how fun is this shirt? I thought it was fun and playful (especially since I'm on my phone non stop doing blog-related things). If you happen to buy - SIZE UP. I'm wearing a large, for reference, and usually wear a small.

Make it a great week, thanks for stopping by!
