Black Romper

Romper: Mint Julep Boutique (sold out, but I linked a bunch of really similar ones in tool below) / Shoes: Stuart Weitzman (love these and these) / Purse: Rag & Bone / Necklace: Ameliorez (MALLORY15 gets you 15% off)

Happy almost Friday! We're so close to the weekend! I don't know about you guys but I have been living in rompers this summer. Romper season is a real thing it seems, and I have totally jumped on that train. They're just so easy to throw on! Maybe it's my long legs, but pairing heels with this baby just felt wrong. I think when rompers are on the shorter side, sandals are a must to keep the look PG, if you know what I mean.

This romper has been one of my favorites summer, and I'm so sorry that it's sold out! Definitely check out some of the other things Mint Julep has to offer, though, because they have some seriously cute stuff at great price points. I also found a bunch of rompers similar to this one (think off the shoulder, poms, etc.) and linked them below.

Black on Black

Top, Jeans, Necklace: Intrigue Boutique (similar items linked below) / Purse: Rebecca Minkoff / Shoes: Steve Madden / Watch: Michael Kors

It's no secret that I LOVE head to toe black. It's my go-to look every single time I feel like I have nothing to wear (which happens way more often than I'd like to admit). Everyone looks good in all black. Seriously. The monochromatic look can feel boring at times, so I like to mix it up with fun accessories or interesting silhouettes. I absolutely LOVE the open back of this top. It's super sassy and perfect for a date night. Flare jeans are something I never thought I would wear after 2005 but I was pleasantly surprised by this pair! They made my legs feel super long and had a bit of a sliming effect - which is total opposite from what I expected. I guess it's true what they say, everything comes back around. Glad I gave flares one more try!

Did you have a good 4th of July weekend? My weekend was pretty low key. We spent the 4th at the pool and the rest of the weekend just hanging out and relaxing. I've deemed this week 'get my life together' week where I do all that fun adult stuff I've been putting off, like the laundry that's been starting at me for the last week (tell me I'm not the only one guilty of this). I haven't been feeling well lately so I've gotten behind on some things. I'm actually thinking about posting another health related post, but haven't completely decided yet.... stay tuned.

Have a great week!

Belted Maxi Dress

Dress & Belt: Intrigue Boutique (similar options linked below) / Shoes: Sam Edelman / Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

Happy Tuesday, friends! Hope you all had a good weekend! If you follow me on Snapchat (@mallorysauer), then you saw I spent the weekend in Newport with my mom and brother. It was such a great weekend! We stayed at this beautiful resort and just relaxed. It was so nice to disconnect - and boy did I.

I love throwing on maxi dresses in the summer. They're easy to wear and feel glamorous in a way. I love that they can also be dressed up or down when paired with the right shoes and accessories. There are SO many great variations out there too! Open backs, print, cut outs - you name it. I love the subtle print on this maxi. Adds a little something without being overwhelming. I wanted to add the belt to define my waist a little more. Sometimes it's nice to let maxi dresses just hang, but when dressing this one up I wanted a little figure definition with the belt.

Be sure to check out Intrigue Boutique! They have such a cute and unique selection of clothes! You can find them on Instagram @shopintrigueboutique.

Thanks for stopping by!
