Easy Long Sweater

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Can you believe it's October already? Holy cow, where did the year go?!

I'm not sure if you guys heard or not (insert lovingly sarcastic tone here because it was ALL over my Instagram), but it's officially fall! While I love fall just as much as the next basic female, I'm sad summer has come to an end. I just didn't get to enjoy enough of it this year! I'll get over it by my next blog post, I promise.

Now that it's fall, it's time to bring on the sweaters and booties and scarves, oh my! Come fall I love to keep my favorite summer tanks in rotation simply by adding a cardigan for layering. This look was essentially my uniform in college and it hasn't failed me yet. I just hate packing up printed tanks or strappy necklines and saying goodbye for the winter. This tank, for example, still allows me to show off my absolute favorite strappy bralette (seriously if you don't own this yet, you need it) that I lived in all summer. The fun part about fall is layering, and getting creative with it! Find fun ways to repurpose or wear your favorite summer pieces with sweaters, jackets, leggings, etc.

This whole look (sans shoes) can be found at Stitch Boutique in Denver. This was my final of 3 fall looks I styled with them (you can catch the other looks here - 1, 2). They get new pieces in constantly and have a really great selection of brands. Check them out at one of their two locations, or on Instagram where they share new updates constantly!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Main Look: T-Shirt: Zara (similar) / Skirt: Common Era / Sweater: Patterns & Pops (on sale!) / Shoes: Aldo (similar) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Second Look: Jacket: Sheinside / Sneakers: Nike

So. I got this skirt for a Christmas party last year and it's so fun! But why limit this beauty to dressy occasions? I decided to tone it down with one of my favorite graphic tee's (that unfortunately isn't available anymore... I know, I'm sorry). For my main look I kept the outfit still semi dressy with pumps and a long cardi. For the second look I really toned it down with my favorite sneakers (more on those to come later...stay tuned!) and my favorite camel colored coat (also seen here). I love mixing unexpected items and creating unique, one of a kind looks. It's sometimes the most unexpected combos that make the best outfits!

Stay tuned for more looks with this cardi - I'm absolutely OBSESSED with it! It's cozy, its chic and so beyond versatile! And... it's on sale right now for $20.50! Yep, you read that right. Seriously snag yourself one, you won't regret it!
