Aspen Outfits

Hi friends! Hope you had an amazing weekend! I posted some OOTD pics on Instagram while I was in Aspen and received lots of questions about outfit details, so I thought it would be easiest to put all details in one blog post for you!

DAY 1:

Jacket (sells out quick, but sign up for restock notifications because they restock frequently) similar HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE / Sweater / Jeans / Hat / Boots / Purse (dupe here) / Sunnies / Watch / Bracelet

The first day, I spent the morning resting at the house and then met my parents in town later for a little aprés ski. It was chilly so I wanted to be comfortable and wear cozy layers.

DAY 2:

Jacket / Sweater / Leggings (must have!) / Hat / Boots / Purse

The second day was weird weather - it started off raining and then got really snowy. My mom and I walked around town and did a little shopping, but decided to call it a day once it got too snowy to walk around.

DAY 3:

Jacket (super old), similar HERE, HERE, HERE, HEREHERE/ Sweater / Jeans / Hat / Booties / Bag

Our last day was probably the most fun. I spent the morning at the house resting while my parents skied, but then we had a super fun afternoon in town. We went to the Hotel Jerome for a drink and some appetizers, then went across the street to Matsuhisa for THE BEST sushi. They have multiple locations - if you ever have the opportunity to eat there, DO. We sat at the sushi bar and chatted with the chef - lots of fun to dine that way.

Hope you guys had a great weekend! If you have any questions on my outfits or things we did in Aspen, please don't hesitate to ask!

See more of my outfit pics and Bear's fashion show look below:

Bear was entered into the 'Most Adorable' category, but unfortunately did not win (thing was rigged if you ask me, I mean look at that face!). He sported a toddler size 3 down jacket and a neck gator to keep himself nice and warm. Way to go, Bear, for being a good sport.

We still had fun playing around Aspen anyway :)

Oh, Colorado. Here we go again. Snow. In April. It's not that I'm surprised, I'm really just annoyed. I've moved on from winter. I've set my sites on fun spring outfits. And then it snows. All day. Sweet.

Ok well enough about my feelings on snow. Let's talk about this outfit. This was my favorite go-to outfit this past winter. Partially because of the pants (and I think I've gushed about these babies enough - you get the point), but mainly because of the vest. I was in the market for a grey-ish faux fur vest that didn't look cheap, but wasn't half my rent. I was about to give up hope when I came across this baby. The drawback? It's actually a size too big. But I knew I wasn't going to find a treasure as great as this, so I kept it. Now, I actually love how big it is! It's a little bit dramatic and definitely makes a statement. I say, "Yes please!" Keeping all my colors in the same family keeps the look tasteful, in my opinion. I don't need an oversized faux fur vest to be any more obnoxious than it already is, am I right? Paired with a simple sweater, my favorite pants (have I mentioned they're my favorite?) a good lace-up bootie and boom, we have ourselves an outfit.

Thank you, snow, for giving me a reason to gush about this vest. You may now return to hibernation. Or in other words, #byefelicia.
