Faux Fur Coat

Coat  (only $25!) / Tee / Jeans / Shoes / Sunglasses / Purse dupe here ($45!) here ($40!) / Purse Keychain

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! Did you catch my Snapchat story sharing how I get my lunches ready for the week? If you missed it, the story should be live for a little longer - my username is mallorysauer. Let me know if you guys would like to see more stories like that!

First, this coat. So cute and actually not super heavy so it's perfect for those cooler nights, but still wearable as we transition into spring. I also love that it can be dressed down with jeans and a tee as shown here, or dressed up for a night out. I love getting my fashion coats from Shein - the quality is better than you would expect for the price. Second, how fun is this shirt? I thought it was fun and playful (especially since I'm on my phone non stop doing blog-related things). If you happen to buy - SIZE UP. I'm wearing a large, for reference, and usually wear a small.

Make it a great week, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday! I'm currently blogging from California! I'm out here for work - if you want to see what I'm up to, follow me on Snapchat - username mallorysauer.

I love this all black two-piece look. It's a nice shake up from a traditional maxi. Don't get me wrong, maxi dresses are one of my favorite spring/summer pieces, but I love that a two-piece set breaks up the outfit a bit. Plus you can wear the pieces separately with other items in your closet, giving you more bang for your buck. I decided to mix it up and really step out by wearing a dark lip. I have rocked a nude lip since 2005. We're talking concealer and lip gloss (I know, don't hold it against me) before they even made nude lip colors. It's just been my thing, and anyone that knows me can attest to that. BUT, I'm trying to branch out with lip colors - they're so fun! I loved this super dark vampy color and thought it added extra drama to the all black look. I loved stacking these two GORGEOUS rings for more of a statement look.

One of my goals for Sweet & Sauer is to share outfits that are simple, but still feel chic and stylish. I find that I'm most attracted to the most simple outfits that have an effortless edge. I like to emulate that with hair, accessories or shoes, or in the case of this out fit, lip color. You don't have to buy fancy extravagant pieces to look good. Sometimes all it takes is a good accessory or a good hair day :) What are some of your favorite ways to add a little extra oomph to an outfit?

Off The Shoulder

Photos by Brandon Hill

Top: Pinks Boutique (very similar here, similar here, here) Pants: Helmut Lang (dupes here, here) / Shoes: Charles David (on sale!) / Purse: Sold out (love this one and this one)

Jewelry from Hyde Park Jewelers #WithLove shop: Necklace 1, 2 / Bracelet 1, 2

Hi friends! Hope your week is going well! Today's look is a little different for me in that I've never really worn a top like this before. I feel like this off the shoulder top is something you either love or hate, no in-between (like cilantro, or chai tea). I happen to love it. It's fun and flirty and perfect for spring. I paired with leather leggings for an edgier look (and because I also happen to live in these pants).

Since the top is a statement in itself, I decided to keep the jewelry simple by layering these delicate Tacori necklaces and bracelets. I love that these pieces are simple, yet still make a statement. And mixing metals is one of my favorite jewelry trends.

Don't forget, Pink's Boutique will take orders over the phone! If you call or go into the store, let them know I sent you :)
