Holy cow. My first New York Fashion Week was a whirlwind. Such a cool experience. The energy, the people, the OUTFITS! Just unreal my friends. This post is dedicated to all my outfits. I'll have more posts later about our experience at fashion week, but for now, check out what I wore while in New York!

Cozy Fall Coat

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great day. Gosh, sorry I've been so absent! Life just got a little crazy for a second. If you follow me on social media, you saw that I was at New York Fashion Week last week with a few other blogger friends. HOLY COW. I can't even begin to explain how amazing the experience was. I'll be doing a post on Wednesday with outfit details, stories, etc.

Sadly, fall is pretty much here (insert sad face emoji here). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE fall and everything it has to offer, but I feel like I missed out on summer with all the Crohn's stuff.

I was excited to collaborate with Stitch Boutique here in Denver to create three fun looks perfect for transitioning into fall. This outfit is all about the jacket. How cute, right? It's so soft and cozy and perfect for light layering. Find a fun jacket like this to keep you warm on those 60 degree days, and simply pair with your favorite tee and booties. The tee I'm wearing is from Z Supply and holy cow, if you don't own at least 3 of these tees,  you're missing out. Perfect fit and SO soft.

Have a great week friends!

Floral Romper

Happy Monday, hope you all had a great weekend! I had an awesome weekend! On Friday night, I attended the National Jewish Health 5280 Air Society Party at Altitude - a charity event benefiting the Morgridge Academy for Chronically Ill Children. The party was lots of fun! It was held on the rooftop of a building downtown, and had lots of yummy bites and drinks. THEN (and this is the big news) on Saturday I went to brunch and stayed out all day! This is huge because 1. I haven't gone to brunch since there was snow on the ground, and 2. I haven't spent an entire day out doing things in over a year. As much as I hate this Ileostomy bag of mine, it is nice to finally start feeling better and do things that make me feel normal. I know a day of brunch and being out and about is standard for my age group and definitely not big exciting news, but for me it's a milestone.

As much as I hate to think about it, fall will be here before we know it. Don't get me wrong, I love fall and everything it has to offer, but I'm just not ready! I want to keep wearing cute dresses and rompers, like this one from Pink's Boutique. I love how this one gives the illusion of a dress - it's unexpected and makes it unique. The low neckline was the perfect opportunity to add my favorite bralette. With fall just around the corner, adding a leather jacket, or any fun jacket, to your favorite dresses and rompers is the perfect way to transition to those cooler temps, and it's a fun way to toughen up your look. I love pairing unexpected pieces to mix up outfits - like leather jackets with florals, and sneakers with dresses.

Pink's doesn't offer online shopping, but they do take phone orders! All their info is below - definitely worth checking out.
