It's Friday!!!! We made it through the week! I know I say that every Friday but man, I just love the weekends. I hope you all had a wonderful week :)

I wanted to share the other way I styled this floral shift dress. Part 1 showed this piece dressed up, where part 2 here is a bit more casual. Printed shift dresses are something I am just loving for fall right now because they are so versatile! I sound like a broken record I know, but I just love pieces that are easy. When you have statement pieces like these in your closet, changing up shoes and accessories can make a huge difference and provide tons of outfit possibilities.

Floral Shift - Part 1

Long sleeve dresses are one of my favorite things at the moment. Perfect pieces for fall before the weather gets too chilly. I am such a fan of ones with fun prints (as also seen here), which is a big step for me because I am NOT a print wearing kind of girl. Something about this moody floral print really drew me in though.

I also love that pieces like this can be dressed up or down. I will be showing you how I dressed this piece down later this week... stay tuned!

Fall Poncho

Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I had a great weekend. Checked out a new restaurant in Denver (Will Call - super yummy), went shopping at the new wing in Cherry Creek Mall, and celebrated a good friends birthday with some of my favorite gal pals!

Today I'm sharing this uh-mazing poncho that I found at Pinks. Ponchos seem to be making a big comeback this fall and I have to say, I don't hate it! I was skeptical about ponchos at first, but this season I'm all about it. I mean does it really get much cozier than basically being wrapped in a blanket while still being socially acceptable? I think not. It's a great alternative to a sweater and perfect for layering.

I can't stress enough how easy this outfit was. Adding this printed poncho and a statement hat over jeans and a basic tee took me from drab to fab, if you will. Don't get me wrong, I LIVE in jeans and tees, but every once in a while it's nice to add something as simple as a bold layering piece or a statement hat and instantly feel a little more glamorous. Simple pieces and accessories instantly make a basic outfit a little less boring.
