Perfect Summer OTS Dress

Another off the shoulder dress for summer? Groundbreaking. I sure hope you all know what movie I'm referencing with that line. If not (tisk tisk) I'll bring you up to speed here.

I found this dress while shopping with my mom, and I'll be honest, I wasn't sure about it at first, but my mom talked me into trying it on and I'm so glad she did! This is such a perfect dress for summer. The fabric is more of a linen-like material, making it super light. It's off the shoulder (duh, what isn't these days) AND.........drumroll......... IT HAS POCKETS! That might be one of the most basic girl things I've said on here in a while, but seriously, find me a girl that doesn't like hidden pockets in dresses. Another reason I really love this dress is because of the versatility. It looks super cute dressed down with white converse sneakers, and also really cute with wedges or simple sandals like the ones I'm wearing here.

Let me rave about these shoes for a second. I was worried they would be uncomfortable, but gosh was I wrong. The platform on the front of the shoe makes them really comfortable and easy to walk in. Definitely a great summer shoe staple because they are so versatile, in my opinion.

Long Sleeve Dress & Luca Love

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! So I posted a picture of myself on Instagram showing my ileostomy bag and holy cow, the response has been amazing. I never expected so many people to like and comment and see and just be inspired by it. I can't tell you how great that feels. I'm putting all of this out there to help people, and to see that I am makes me so incredibly happy. I can't even put into words how grateful I am for all of the love and support. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I'm going to do a post later this week talking about my ileostomy - stay tuned!

I snagged this dress from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it is definitely going to be in heavy rotation. I'm actually considering picking it up in a couple other colors I love it that much. The fit is perfect and it's definitely one of those easy to throw on and look cute pieces. Plus, the bell sleeves and cutout detail in the back give the dress an extra little something. Also, I just love wearing dresses like this with booties in the fall. I can't wait to add a fur vest to this look once the temps get cooler!

Now let's talk about my bracelets! Stacking bracelets with a statement watch is one of my absolute favorite jewelry trends. The three bracelets I'm wearing are from Luca Love, a company that specializes in bracelets handmade by low income women in Columbia. #Nsale Clothing Haul & Review

Hi friends! Sorry for being a little MIA this week. Things have just been a little crazy lately!

All of my purchases from the #nsale have finally arrived and I'm SO excited for my new pieces! I wanted to do a quick haul and review of all the things I got.

Look 1

Lush Bell Sleeve Shift Dress ($32) - LOVE this dress! The fabric is pretty lightweight. I love the bell sleeves and the cutout on the back. Super easy to throw on with booties or even riding boots for fall. Comes in a bunch of different color/print options. Fits true to size, I'm wearing a size small.

Chelsea28 Faux Leather Chain Clutch ($30) - Can double as a clutch or a shoulder bag. Love the champagne color!

Steve Madden Bootie ($100) - Love these! They're a little bit taller than I thought they would be - I'm used to booties with a slightly smaller heel. They're still really comfortable and true to size.

Look 2

BP Cardigan ($31) - Super comfortable and easy to throw on. Comes in a bunch of colors and fits true to size. I'm wearing a size small. Similar hooded style here.

AG Denim ($164) - This is my first pair of AG jeans - I've heard really good things about the fit and quality. So far so good! I love the fit and the amount of stretch they have. Definitely fit true to size.

Lush Knit Tee ($20) - This isn't part of the sale but it's hands down one of my favorite tops ever. I have it in three different colors. Fits a little oversized. I have both a medium and a small in this top and actually prefer the medium because I like the oversized look. I'm wearing the small in this photo.

Phase 3 Floppy Wool Hat ($20) - The color and look are perfect for fall. I love the stitch detail around the edge. I love hats like this for fall - perfect for covering up a bad hair day and they instantly make an outfit look chic.

Free People Open Back Top ($45) - I am obsessed with this top! I love anything with an open back. The material is on the lighter side and super soft. It looks really cute with fun strappy back bralettes. Fit is slightly oversized, I'm wearing a small.

Look 4

Lush V-Neck Tee ($15) - If you follow me on Snapchat (@mallorysauer), then you saw me talk about this tee. I like my t-shirts to fit a little baggy and oversized, and I wish this one was a little bigger. I'm wearing a medium as that usually gives me the oversized fit/look I like, but I wish I had ordered a large. I like my tees to be a little longer so I can tuck the front in, which I can't do with this one without it looking silly. Other than the fit, this tee is super soft and comfortable. Perfect for wearing with cardigans and scarves.

Topshop Moto Skinny ($40) - Not part of the sale, but one of my favorite pairs of pants ever. White jeans in the fall is one of my favorite trends.

Look 5

Topshop Patchwork Cardigan ($56) - One of my favorite purchases from the sale! This cardigan seems to be one of the more popular items from the sale, I've seen so many people wearing it! It's so comfortable and soft. Fit is oversized, I'm wearing a small.

Steve Madden Bootie ($87) - Super comfortable and the color is perfect for fall. I love the side slits. Fit is true to size.

Look 6

Treasure&Bond Sweater ($50) - I love this sweater so much! It's super comfortable and soft and the fit is just perfect. I get kind of funny with v-neck sweaters because I feel like sometimes they can look weird, but this one is perfect! It fits slightly oversized, which I love, and I'm wearing a size small.

Look 7

Rails Plaid Shirt ($99) - I love Rails tops. At first I was a little skeptical because I thought the price point was a little high for plaid/button up shirts. However, after owning two now, I will say they are totally worth the price. The material is soft and has a really nice drape. I have THIS shirt that I wear all the time. That being said, I ordered this plaid in a size small as that's what size I have in the chambray, however the fit of the plaid is slightly different. Again, I like these tops to be a little baggier and oversized and for some reason the plaid didn't fit that way like the chambray does. I'm wearing a size small in this photo, but will probably return for a size medium.

Helmut Lang Leather Pants (not part of sale) - I wore these pants ALL fall/winter last year, and this year will be no different. Leather leggings are a wardrobe must and closet staple in my opinion. There are some great faux leather options that are part of the sale. These for $65, these for $72, and these for $53.

Ok that's it! There are so many great things that are part of the anniversary sale this year.
