Long Sleeve Dress & Luca Love

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! So I posted a picture of myself on Instagram showing my ileostomy bag and holy cow, the response has been amazing. I never expected so many people to like and comment and see and just be inspired by it. I can't tell you how great that feels. I'm putting all of this out there to help people, and to see that I am makes me so incredibly happy. I can't even put into words how grateful I am for all of the love and support. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I'm going to do a post later this week talking about my ileostomy - stay tuned!

I snagged this dress from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it is definitely going to be in heavy rotation. I'm actually considering picking it up in a couple other colors I love it that much. The fit is perfect and it's definitely one of those easy to throw on and look cute pieces. Plus, the bell sleeves and cutout detail in the back give the dress an extra little something. Also, I just love wearing dresses like this with booties in the fall. I can't wait to add a fur vest to this look once the temps get cooler!

Now let's talk about my bracelets! Stacking bracelets with a statement watch is one of my absolute favorite jewelry trends. The three bracelets I'm wearing are from Luca Love, a company that specializes in bracelets handmade by low income women in Columbia. Their mission is to provide opportunities of employment and essential necessities to those who need it most. If you couldn't tell from my last post, I like to support companies that give back. I love when my passion for fashion (hey, I'm a cheesy rhymer!) can do something good for other people. Definitely check out Luca Love bracelets, they have a ton of super cute options!

Make it a great week friends, thanks for stopping by!

As promised, here are photos of the other way I styled this dress. This is a perfect example on how you can take this dress, or any similar dress for that matter, from day to night with just a few quick changes. I swapped the booties for a heeled sandal, switched bags, and threw my hair in a messy top knot. You could also change up your lip color to take it one step further. Just a few quick and simple changes can take your look from work to happy hour in no time.

In case you missed it, here is the more casual and work-appropriate way I styled this dress.

Monday, we meet again. How is it that the weekends seem to just fly by so fast?! Did you have a good weekend? We had pretty rainy weather so it was a low key weekend for me. On Sunday I taught a Pure Barre intensive, then spent the day with my family for Mother's Day. So fun to celebrate my amazing Mama!

Now I'm sure you all have a little black dress in your closet (and if you don't, get on that. Like now.). Maybe you have a few. Or maybe you're like me and 40% of your dress collection is black. Either way. Black dresses are the ultimate staple because you can do so much with them.

I love this t-shirt dress from ASOS with the higher collar. Not only does the collar add a little something, but it allows for dressing up an otherwise casual t-shirt dress. Or you can go the opposite route and dress it down even further with sneakers! If you follow me on Snapchat (@mallorysauer) then you saw I wore this with sneakers the other day. So easy and comfortable. In my experience with t-shirt dresses, the material tends to be pretty light and sometimes clingy, but this one is a little bit thicker without being too much to wear in the summer.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing pictures of this same dress, but with a little hair and shoe change to take it from day to evening. Stay tuned!

Thank you ASOS and Her Campus Media for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
