Athleisure Moto Jacket

It is getting COLD. Holy cow. We have had some pretty chilly days lately. When it gets that cold, I really just prefer to hibernate and sometimes lack outfit creativity. Thank goodness for the athleisure trend, right? When I can get away with minimal effort looks during the winter, I'm all about it.

I've mentioned these leggings before - they are a must have. They have that faux leather vibe, are high waisted and are so flattering and versatile. And to my ostomy friends - these are heaven and keep everything where it needs to be. Adding a super soft basic white tee (size up for a more relaxed look), a warm jacket that doubles with style and a fun sneaker makes a super simple outfit a little less boring! I love this jacket from Crane & Lion - it's warm, but not overwhelming, making it perfect for chilly days that don't require a bulky coat. Plus, they styling has a moto-vibe and the sleek fabric has that faux leather look as well. Oh, and the hat is necessary when you're on about day 6 of dry shampoo, if ya know what I mean.

These sneakers were a gift and I absolutely love them. I had been wanting red sneakers, but to receive them customized with my blog name on the back was pretty cool. Very thoughtful, in my opinion, and it doesn't take a ton of extra time. Definitely a good gift idea for a sneaker lover you might have on your list!

Long Sweater + OTK Boots

I don't know about you guys but I have been living in sweaters lately. Last fall/winter I kept reaching for comfy and cozy sweaters that, sadly, didn't exist in my closet. I had like 4 sweaters that I kept rotating - made for a boring cold weather wardrobe. This season I really made a point to find soft sweaters that would hold up for multiple seasons and have that perfect cozy winter fit. This one is so comfortable and the oversize fit is perfect for this time of year.

I absolutely LOVE wearing baggy sweaters or tops with leggings and over the knee boots for fall. Not only is the look comfortable, but OTK boots instantly dress up the outfit. I have a couple of pairs of leggings that have a faux leather look and they are perfect for this type of outfit. These ones are absolutely amazing and are so incredibly flattering. In my opinion, OTK boots and a pair of faux leather (or leather looking) leggings are wardrobe staples for the fall - the outfit possibilities are endless. Check out the tool below for some of my current favorite sweaters that check all the boxes - soft, cozy and the perfect fit.

Last but not least, have you seen the holiday gift guides I've created? I have a whole section on my blog dedicated to gift guides right now. I have a few more that I'm going to put out this week - just in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Speaking of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I'm going to have a list of all the deals happening up on my blog tomorrow evening (hopefully). Think of me as your shopping and gift giving resource! Keep checking back this week as I keep my holiday section updated.

Have a happy Thanksgiving my friends, I'm thankful for all of you!

Happy Wednesday everyone! First, I just want to say thank you for the overwhelming amount of love and support from my last blog post. I can't even begin to explain how much it means to me to have such a positive response. The kindness and words of encouragement mean everything to me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Ok, Mallory. Stop being so sappy. Now let me tell you about this outfit! You guys. I know I've said this before but this really is my favorite outfit right now. Mainly because of these pants. These faux leggings are everything. Super soft and stretchy and beyond comfortable. They're on a weekly rotation. I love pairing them with black to dress them up. Black and brown is one of my favorite combos so far this fall. I've also been loving this loose fit blazer as a layering piece. Easy to throw on and keeps the look polished. Lastly - these booties were a major score from Target. They're super comfortable and on-trend for the season. Plus they were $35. Doesn't get much better than that, right?

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
