Sweater: Tobi (on sale!) / Skirt (actually a slip): Nordstrom (similar) Other option: H&M / Boots: Ivanka Trump (on sale!) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Finally! This was my absolute FAVORITE outfit I wore when shooting pictures with Jathan. I'm so excited to share this post with you!

I loooooove a good baggy sweater, and this, my friends, is a GREAT baggy sweater. Bonus! It's off the shoulder - aka my weakness. I typically pair this baby with leggings and some boots and call it a casual day. But every once in a while it's fun to find new ways to dress up traditionally casual pieces.

I saw two different outfits that I knew I wanted to recreate, and they both involve an oversized sweater with just a hint of skirt peeking out. So I gave it a shot and made it happen using this sweater. Spoiler alert! My skirt is actually a slip... gasp! I liked the subtle lace detail and the contrast the silk fabric added to the outfit. For a less daring option, this basic skirt from H&M would look just as killer (I have this skirt in 3 different colors). I felt surprisingly glamorous in this outfit. Something about the baggy sweater and thigh high boots, man I felt like I could take on the world!

Finding outfits you love and exploring different ways to recreate is one of my favorite things to do. And nine times out of ten it can be done by shopping your own closet and getting creative. If you've done this I'd love to hear about it! Share with me your outfit recreating stories - maybe we can inspire each other!

Jumpsuit: Patterns & Pops / Shoes: Aldo (similar) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban / Bracelet: Michael Kors

I'm a sucker for a stand alone statement piece, and this tribal jumpsuit is just that. This thing is BEYOND comfortable and super versatile! I just love the cinched in waist. For this look, I went simple with my black Aldo pumps and understated jewelry. I wanted attention to be given to the jumpsuit (well deserved) and nothing else. I can't wait to wear this during the summer with the legs scrunched up and fun sandals!

If you haven't check out Patterns & Pops yet, take a look at their site! They have just the cutest pieces! Everything is under $100 and meant to fit in with the wardrobe you already have. I have a few items from them and I'm obsessed with every one of them!

Main Look: T-Shirt: Zara (similar) / Skirt: Common Era / Sweater: Patterns & Pops (on sale!) / Shoes: Aldo (similar) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Second Look: Jacket: Sheinside / Sneakers: Nike

So. I got this skirt for a Christmas party last year and it's so fun! But why limit this beauty to dressy occasions? I decided to tone it down with one of my favorite graphic tee's (that unfortunately isn't available anymore... I know, I'm sorry). For my main look I kept the outfit still semi dressy with pumps and a long cardi. For the second look I really toned it down with my favorite sneakers (more on those to come later...stay tuned!) and my favorite camel colored coat (also seen here). I love mixing unexpected items and creating unique, one of a kind looks. It's sometimes the most unexpected combos that make the best outfits!

Stay tuned for more looks with this cardi - I'm absolutely OBSESSED with it! It's cozy, its chic and so beyond versatile! And... it's on sale right now for $20.50! Yep, you read that right. Seriously snag yourself one, you won't regret it!
