Long Sweater + OTK Boots

I don't know about you guys but I have been living in sweaters lately. Last fall/winter I kept reaching for comfy and cozy sweaters that, sadly, didn't exist in my closet. I had like 4 sweaters that I kept rotating - made for a boring cold weather wardrobe. This season I really made a point to find soft sweaters that would hold up for multiple seasons and have that perfect cozy winter fit. This one is so comfortable and the oversize fit is perfect for this time of year.

I absolutely LOVE wearing baggy sweaters or tops with leggings and over the knee boots for fall. Not only is the look comfortable, but OTK boots instantly dress up the outfit. I have a couple of pairs of leggings that have a faux leather look and they are perfect for this type of outfit. These ones are absolutely amazing and are so incredibly flattering. In my opinion, OTK boots and a pair of faux leather (or leather looking) leggings are wardrobe staples for the fall - the outfit possibilities are endless. Check out the tool below for some of my current favorite sweaters that check all the boxes - soft, cozy and the perfect fit.

Last but not least, have you seen the holiday gift guides I've created? I have a whole section on my blog dedicated to gift guides right now. I have a few more that I'm going to put out this week - just in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Speaking of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I'm going to have a list of all the deals happening up on my blog tomorrow evening (hopefully). Think of me as your shopping and gift giving resource! Keep checking back this week as I keep my holiday section updated.

Have a happy Thanksgiving my friends, I'm thankful for all of you!

Lace Up Sweater

Hi friends! Hope you're all doing well! You may have seen on my Snapchat (@mallorysauer) or Instastory that my mom and I took a trip to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for a second opinion for both my Crohn's and Cancer. As far as the melanoma goes, we're in a good spot and pleased with our current treatment plan. It was interesting to hear another doctor's opinion, though. The main purpose of the trip was for my Crohn's. Long story short, their doctor ran some tests and gave her initial thoughts, but would like me to come back in a few weeks for additional testing. The Mayo doctors will talk to my team in Denver and hopefully we'll have a plan soon! Even though I had the ileostomy surgery, I still have the symptoms related to active Crohn's. It's frustrating.

Now for this outfit! Last fall I found that I kept reaching for cute comfy sweaters and I never really had any. I think I wore the same two all season. This year, I've really made a point to find sweaters that are both cute and cozy, and will last. This one, in particular, has been a major favorite that I've been wearing nonstop. On the rare occasion that it's cold here (it was 75 degrees today), I've been throwing on a sweater, my favorite ripped jeans, and a cute pair of booties. So simple and no fuss. This look is super easy to accessorize with a fun purse, cute hat or bold lip.

Adidas Tee

Hi friends! I failed once again at blogging last week. Why, you ask? STILL SICK. I've seriously had this annoying cold/virus situation for the last six weeks. It's super frustrating. Ok, enough complaining.

I'd say nine out of ten times you can find me in some version of jeans and a t-shirt. It's my go to outfit and what I feel most comfortable in. And the best part is, you can dress the combo up or down.

I've been eyeing (and loving) all the cool Adidas pieces lately. I recently was shopping with my girlfriends, and one of them bought this tee. Ever since, I could not get this darn t-shirt out of my head - so I caved and bought one for myself. I've been living in it ever since. I love the versatility that graphic tees provide. So far I've worn this one with leggings and sneakers, jeans, and (my favorite) leather pants. A simple shoe or pant change can take t-shirts from drab to fab (did I really just use that cliche phrase?). Best part about graphic tees? You don't need to do much else! Sometimes it's fun to add a sparkly bauble or other fun accessories, but totally not necessary. Sometimes it's easier to let graphic tees speak for themselves. I've linked this one and some other fun graphic tees in the tool below.

Hope you all had a fun weekend!
